Peggy Price Fucella

Peggy Price Fucella, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her home in Shelbyville, KY. She was born on March 9, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late George and Lou Alice Price. Peggy was a graduate of Ahrens Trade School and worked as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter for many years before she retired. She was a Stephen Minister along with a volunteer for many organizations. She was a member of Middletown Christian Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Rodney Fucella; her daughter, Hillari Wood; parents, George and Lou Alice Price; and her siblings, Emily Markwell, Bill Price, James Price and Tim Price.

Peggy is survived by her children, LuAnn Walcott (Aric), Dan Fucella (Dana), David Fucella (Josh), and Teresa Fucella; her sister, Pamela Jeffords (Jeff); grandchildren, Elizabeth Bedwell (Paul), Jacob Fucella (Destiny), Jessica Cate (Zach), Jessica King, Ryan Wood, Allison Wood, and Samantha Wood; her great grandchildren, Cory, Bailee, Christian, Aubree, Kaeden, Nash, and Jax; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville.
