Peggy Sue Neal, a cherished mother, loving sister, and grandmother, passed away on September 14, 2024, at the Hosparus Inpatient Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on August 22, 1972, in New Albany, Indiana, Peggy was a beacon of warmth and kindness throughout her life.

Peggy graduated from South Central High School and dedicated many years to her career at Caesars, where she worked diligently in housekeeping, earning the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and the joys she found in life’s simple pleasures.

Peggy derived great satisfaction from gardening and creating a beautiful outdoor space. She enjoyed walking her beloved dogs, Buddy and Bones, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Above all, Peggy treasured the time spent with her family, particularly with her children. Her son, Austin Wayne Allen, her son, Sean Allen, and her daughter, Danielle (Matt) Haub, were her pride and joy. She delighted in the laughter and innocence of her grandchildren, Nathaniel and Isabelle, who filled her heart with happiness.

Peggy is also remembered by her siblings, her sister, Donna Kirk, her sister, Judy Neal, and her brother, Norman Neal, who will carry forward her legacy of love and family togetherness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith D. Allen, and her parents, Norman and Rosetta Neal, both of whom she missed dearly.

As those who knew Peggy reflect on the meaningful impact she had on their lives, they remember her as a nurturing spirit, a steadfast friend, and a vibrant soul who will be sincerely missed. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.

Peggy's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
