Peggy Joan McHugh, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on February 8, 2023.
Peggy was born on June 28, 1937, in Louisville to the late Emil and Thelma Faust. She was also preceded in death by her son, August "Buddy" Schoenbaechler.
She retired from Old Fitzgerald Distillery after 26 years of service, where she worked on the bottling line. Peggy loved baking Christmas cookies for her family and friends, and she also enjoyed gardening. She was a well loved wife, mother, sister, and grandma who will be deeply missed.
Peggy is survived by her husband Gary McHugh; daughters, Kimberly Woods (Ronald) and Sharon Schoenbaechler; sister, Donna Bolin; grandchildren, Rhonda Woods-Schlicht (Matthew), Ronald "Rew" Woods (Paxton), and August Schoenbacechler V (Carmen); and her great grandchildren, Rouge, Rose, and Chesley.
No public services will be held.
