Peggy Diehl, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Peggy was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She always loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids. Some of her favorite hobbies were playing BINGO, traveling to the beach, and going to the Casino. Peggy will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was born on September 28, 1941 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Allen and Nedith (Houston) Devasier. She is preceded in death by her Father, Allen Devasier and Sister, BettyJo Vardeman.
Peggy is survived by her loving family, Mother, Nedith Devasier; Loving Husband of 62 years, William "Bill" Carl Diehl; Children, Cheryl (Andrew) Brown, Jeffrey (Kim) Diehl, and Bruce (Sharrie) Diehl; Grandchildren, Eric Beck, Cody Ray, Collin (Leslie) Ray, Mason Diehl, Hailie Cannon, Courtney Cannon, and Ross Cannon; Great-Grandchildren, Isabella Ray, Aivah Diehl, Allisyn Diehl, Colton Ray, Kaylani Diehl, Liam Ray, Ellianna Sierra, and Beau Sierra; Siblings, James A. (Loretta) Devasier, Judy Haysley, and Larry (Veronica) Devasier; Brothers-In-Law, Spencer Vardeman and Richard (Andrea) Diehl; Sister-In-Law, Charlotte Diehl, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
