Pearl Oletha (Bryant) Hubert

Pearl Oletha (Bryant) Hubert, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the age of 84 in Louisville, Kentucky. Pearl's journey began on March 9, 1940, when she was born to Noah and Thelma (Lopp) Bryant. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, creativity, and warmth, deeply impacting all who knew her.

She was cherished by many and leaves behind a legacy of family that will forever hold her close in their hearts. Survived by her children-Donnie, Earl, Jack (David), and Marty Hubert-along with her daughters, Charlene Hubert, Darlene Bennett, and Marlena Torres, and her loving brother, Noah Bryant. Pearl took immense pride in her large and loving family. Her life was also enriched by an abundance of grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

While Pearl's heart was filled with love for her family, she also faced loss throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Charles, as well as her beloved sons, Chuck and Ronnie. Additionally, she was preceded by her brothers, William and Hobert, who remained forever in her thoughts.

A woman of many talents, Pearl was an ardent seamstress and crocheter, crafting gifts of love that wrapped her family in warmth and comfort. Her culinary skills were legendary; nothing nourished her heart more than gathering her family around the table to enjoy her delicious meals. In every dish she created, she poured her heart, reminding each family member of the love that bound them together.

As she transitioned into her eternal life, Pearl did so peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, an embodiment of the unconditional love she bestowed upon all those fortunate enough to be part of her life. Though she has departed from this earth, her legacy of love and strength will forever resonate in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those who were blessed to know her.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Pearl's remarkable life will take place on February 2, 2025 from 12:00PM - 4:00PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Pearl's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
