Mrs. Pauline Carby Woods, age 91 passed away peacefully August 31st at 9:35 PM. with her family by her side. She was born in Grayson County, retired from Spalding Cleaners and a member of Highland Park First Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Class. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Hawkins Carby, father, John L. Carby, brother, Robert Carby and sister, Ava Bullock.

Mrs. Woods is survived by her daughters, Linda Alford Adkisson (Donald) and Patty Gowers (Kenny); sister, Noi Hogan; brother, Rupert Carby; four grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Our Mother left many beautiful memories and her love is still a guide to all her family and friends.

The celebration of her life will be at 11 AM Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive with private burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 12-6 PM Sunday and after 9 AM Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers it is suggested that donations be made in memory of Pauline Woods to Highland Park First Baptist Church in care of Dr. Jeff Pennington.
