Pauline E. Warren, age 79 of Louisville, formerly of Chicago, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013. She was a registered nurse who worked many places across the country, including Scripps and Abbott Hospital. She was a Catholic and member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Peter Warren; parents Wardell and Rosetta Hillard Brown; daughter, Trennis Calhoun; grandson, Baron Jackson; sister, Hazel Brown; and brother, Wardell Brown.
Mrs. Warren is survived by daughters, Phyllis Jackson, Karen Wince, Paulette Calhoun and Constance Perkey; grandchildren, Lauren Moore, Crystal Calhoun-Niang, Isabelle A. Perkey, Donald Calhoun, Ronald Calhoun and Dana Calhoun; brothers, James H. Brown (Martha) and William Brown (Barbara); sister, Anna Rae Hilton. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral ceremony will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 6500 St. Bernadette Avenue Prospect, KY., with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. At 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be 4-7p.m. Wednesday, January 30th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Being that Mrs. Warren was a 20 year cancer survivor, the family would appreciate memorials being made to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer awareness.
