Pauline Murphy Knieper

Pauline Murphy Knieper, age 96 of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, August 18, 2014. She was the former owner and operator of Pauline's Beauty Shop in St. Matthews. She was a long-time member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church. She was affectionately known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as "Great Polly". She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Henry Knieper; and her parents, Stanley and Maude Brown Murphy.

Pauline is survived by her children, Cindy Vivona (Victor) and Patty Knieper; grandchildren, Lara (Jim), Jason (Jessica), Andrea, Adam, Maria and Ben; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Joshua. She is also survived by a host of wonderful friends.

A celebration of Great Polly's life will be 1pm Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Crescent Hill Baptist Church Chapel, 2800 Frankfort Avenue with visitation there from 11am until service.
