Paula Pearson

Paula Pearson, age 76, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, before making her home in Louisville. Paula dedicated 20 years as a cardiac intensive care nurse providing care and compassion to countless patients throughout her career.

For many years, Paula devoted herself to Evangel Prison Ministries, where she touched hearts and changed lives through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William (Bill) Pearson, and her sister Jamie Earles, as well as her aunt, Jean Wright.

Paula is survived by her sister, Peggy Sullivan (Steven); her children: Tony Bucy (Lori), Victor Pearson (Kevin), Daniel Pearson, and Alexander Pearson. She was a proud grandmother to Krysta Batista (Angel), Joshua Bucy (Kianna), and Ryan Bucy, Amber Onkst (Noah), Brittney Francke (Noah), and a beloved great-grandmother to Jaxon, Selena, Kollins, and Sofia. She also leaves behind a host of relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Newcomer, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243) and the following day, Friday, March 14th from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Evangel World Prayer Center (6900 Billtown Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A funeral ceremony will follow visitation on Friday at 11:00 am at the church with burial to follow at Crosswater Gardens Cemetery.
