Paula Broughton

Paula Broughton, 55, of Henryville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Paula enjoyed outdoors, gardening, music, and most importantly spending time with her family. Family life was Paula's true love and passion.

She was born on December 9, 1967 in East Chicago, Indiana to James and Georgia (Bowen) Short. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Short.

Paula is survived by her loving children, April Elliott, Thomas Elliott, and Nicole (Lee) Horn; grandchildren, Simon (Charlie Vaughn) Baldwin, Addison Johnson, Johnny Horn, Charlie Horn, Everly Horn, and Natalie Horn; great grandson, Theodore Baldwin; siblings, Debbie Clagg, Ralph (Rachael) Short, Lisa Short, Christy Berks, and Jimbo Short; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Henryville, Indiana.
