Paul Gerard Logsdon

Paul Gerard Logsdon, age 57 passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. He was born June 28, 1965 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Gerard Jenkins Logsdon and Lois Hanke Hall. He lived in Louisville with his loving wife Lisa Simpson Logsdon whom he married February, 14, 1994. Paul served his country as a medic in the US Army. Paul worked in the Wholesale Floral Industry for 30 years. He was passionate about ensuring his florist customers were taken care of. He was not just a salesperson to many of them - he had also become a great friend to them.

Paul was an avid football fan, especially when it came to his beloved Louisville Cardinals. He even coached for the Little League Lyndon Lightning and semi-pro Corydon Calvary. He loved spending time with family and thoroughly enjoyed vacation adventures with his wife. His favorite vacation was last summer when they went on a camping trip with all the children and grandchildren at Stone Mountain, GA. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Howard Simpson, Sr. and his grandchild, Jude Logsdon.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; his children, Renee' Vidt (Shane Ulery), Andrew Logsdon (Kelly), Katie Cunningham (D. J.) and Tyler Logsdon (Paige); grandchildren, Danielle Ulery, Will Ulery, Bradlee Vidt, Lexi Vidt, Trenten Vidt, Logan Vidt, Landen Vidt, Kaelyn Logsdon, Emma Logsdon, Sophie Logsdon, Tucker Cunningham, Memphis Cunningham, Huntlee Cunningham, Paisley Logsdon and Jaxson Logsdon; his sister, Beth Hays (Doug); brother, Patrick Logsdon (Melanie); mother-in-law, Sandra Simpson; grandmother-in-law, Virginia Goff; and step-father, William Hall; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2-8pm on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 and on Friday, July 15th from 9am until time of service at 11am.
