Paul Fink

Paul Bernard Fink, 72, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960 as a Private 1st Class aboard the USS John W. Weeks. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 27 years of service and was a member of the VFW Post 1693 Hobart Beach in New Albany.

Paul was born on July 10, 1939 in New Albany to the late Bernard C. and Mary H. (Robertson) Fink. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Earl Fink, Sr. and Mary Ann Schiedell.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Janet R. (Hiestand) Fink; children, Paul D. Fink (Terri), John W. Norris (Laura), Carla R. Goldman, Brian F. Goldman, Kimberly A. Autrey (Robert), James A. Fink (Amanda); siblings, Thomas Fink, Sr., Grace McKnight, Dorothy Eisman, Theresa Wimsatt, Ronald Fink (Metzi), Christopher Fink (Mary Chris); 14 grandchildren and 7 great-granddaughters.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Monday, September 19, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 12 PM on Tuesday, September 20 in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with military honors and cremation to follow.
