Paul F. Emery

Paul Francis Emery, 76, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on June 9, 2012. He retired from Brown Williamson in Louisville, and then went to work for the NAFC School Corporation and the New Albany Housing Authority. Paul was a member of the Masonic Lodge #39 in New Albany and Heartland Church of the Nazarene in Floyds Knobs. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter that enjoyed spending time outdoors.

Paul was born on November 30, 1935 in New Albany to the late Frank L. and Mary (Albrecht) Emery. He was also preceded in death by his great-grandson, Jason Randall.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Weaver (Doug), Darcy Wilson (David), Tracy Emery (Ron), Robin Sappenfield (Mike), Paul Emery (Barbara), Theresa Grubbs (Charles), Kelly Puckett (Phillip), Chuck Lockman, Jim Lockman (Gisella), David Lockman; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12 to 7 PM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 7 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Paul's wishes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Church of the Nazarene (6901 Old Vincennes Road, Floyds Knobs).
