Paul Thomas Evans, Jr.

Paul Thomas Evans, Jr., 92, passed away on April 9, 2023. He was an Air Force veteran who served his country from 1951-1954. Paul and his wife owned Dot's Ceramics for over 20 years and he later worked for Rohleder's and Ace Hardware stores. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Rohleder Evans; daughter, Rebecca Evans and brother, Donald Evans.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Karen Saunders, Richard Evans, Margaret (Mark) Zuelke and Julie (Mike) Gatton; grandchildren, Amanda (Kyle) Stumler, Kelsey (Adrienne) Hicks, Alexandria (Brodie) Henson, Leanna Gatton and Shane Gatton; great-granddaughter, Ava Stumler and his siblings, Beverly (Bob) Cassity, Sandra (Dale) King, Linda (Donnie) Hollingsworth and Mike (Marynel) Evans.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, 40272, from 12pm-8pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, April 17, 2023, from 9am-11am followed by a celebration of Paul's life.

Paul will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road, Louisville, KY, 40204.
