Paul "Randy" Randolph Davidson, Jr., 63, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023. Randy was a man of little words. He was kind, a thinker, a planner, and a hard worker. Randy was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed horse racing, NASCAR racing, Kentucky and Louisville Football, and hockey. Randy was very knowledgeable about finances and kept a constant watch on the Stock Market. Most importantly, Randy loved his family and friends. He was the rock of his family and friends and coordinated many events. Randy will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on October 7, 1959 in Louisville, Kentucky to Paul and Ruth (Brown) Davidson. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Randolph Davidson, Sr..
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Kathleen Davidson; parents, Ruth and John Kraus; sons, Kevin Davidson, Jonathan Chancey; siblings, Kathy (Rodney) Garvin, Terry Davidson, Susan (Terry) Aldridge, David (Angela) Davidson, Heather (John) Broadbent; as well as a host of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
