Paul E. Bolton, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023.
He was born on February 18, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Mary Louise Clark. Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his two brothers and two sisters.
Paul proudly served our country during the Vietnam War while enlisted in the U.S. Army. While enlisted in the Army, he was awarded the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Service Star, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, the Combat Infantry Badge and he was titled as a Marksman Sharpshooter (Rifle M-16) (Rifle M-14) and (M-60 MG). He was a 1964 graduate of DeSales High School and retired from A & L Manufacturing after 46 years. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards and spending time with the ones he loved most.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, wife, Carmen Dugan Bolton, daughter, Lisa Bolton, son, Kevin Bolton, grandchildren, Ty, Kayla, Tori and Alexis, great grandchildren, Zakhari and Kylo, sisters, Carla Waterbury and Kathy Starr.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 18th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service celebrating Paul's life and the rendering of military honors will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Paul's memory be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
