Patty Henderson

Patty Henderson, 51, of Louisville passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Patty attended Tully Elementary School and Graduated from Churchill Park High School. She attended the Kaleidoscope Adult Day Program for many years. Patty loved Kay Kay's and wore her crosses religiously. She has taught our family that it's ok to be different and to live right out loud no matter who is watching. She never missed an opportunity to tell someone they were doing a good job. Patty also loved her dogs, and leaves behind her current pet, Dixie.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Henderson.

Patty is survived by her mother and stepfather, Mary and Paul Ankeny; sister, Christina Rose; stepsister, Debbie Arduino (Frank); nephews and niece, Jared (Tayler), Jordan (Sydney), Kenny (Bella) and Sydney Rose; great niece and nephew, Madilyn and Carter Rose; couslings, Denise and Jerry Best, and Tom and Melissa Brown; godparents, Tommy and Sherry Brown; and her caretakers, Jennipher Decker and Linda "Blue".

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive). Her funeral will follow the next day at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow at St. Edwards Cemetery in Jeffersontown.
