Patsy Lee Smith

Patsy Lee (Taylor) Smith was born November 12, 1945 to Joseph T. Taylor and Jennie Lee (Taylor) Greene. Patsy was the second youngest of five children.

She is survived by her five children; Stanley Williams, Alphonso (Anisha) Williams, Curtis (Stephanie) Williams, Bobbie Jo (Richard) Chandler, and Caleb Smith, siblings; Joseph C. Taylor, Carolyn Nelson, and Harlan Taylor, eighteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Preceding her in death is her father, mother, sister Betty Ann Ritchie, and her beloved husband for 52 years, Robert (Bobby) E. Smith.

Patsy was a loving and caring person who truly loved Jehovah and her family, always helping where she could. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior early in life. She was a dedicated member and served at Central Christian Church. She later became a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and was a dedicated member for 20+ years until her passing.

Loved for her kindness and thoughtfulness, she will be dearly missed by all who have been touched by her warmth and tenderness.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).

Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Monday, August 7, 2023 at Jehovah's Witnesses Hall, 1630 W. Muhammad Ali BLVD, Louisville KY 40203.

A repass will follow the memorial service at Union Community Center, 4019 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY 40216.
