Patsy Huff Mabrey

Patsy Huff Mabrey , 84, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. 

She was born on January 11, 1940 in West Point, Kentucky to the late Waymon Huff and Beulah (Daley) Anderson. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carroll Mabrey, infant daughter, Sheila Carol Mabrey, and her siblings, Georgia Faith, Vernon Huff, Maxie Huff and Ray "Buster" Huff.  Patsy has been a long time member of New Salem Baptist Church; where she loved worshiping alongside of her church family. She was a former licensed Cosmetologist and retired from management from H&S Hardware.

Patsy is survived by her loving son, Robert Kevin (Martha) Mabrey, grandchildren, Corbin (Amanda) Mabrey, Kristan (LeAnn) Mabrey and Kelsey (Trip) Stephens, great grandchildren, Audrey, Alyssa and Elijah, along with her brother, Shirley (Sharon) Huff, sister in-law, Vernell Mabrey, several nieces and nephews, very close friends, Dave and Janelle Blake and their son Ethan, along with all the rest of her wonderful neighbors that will miss her very much. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 1st at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. The family requests that contributions in Patsy’s memory be made to a charity of your choice in her memory.
