Patsy Lee Garrett, 78, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023.
She was born on July 6, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Coby and Charlcie (Holman) Edwards. Patsy is survived by her loving family; children, Veronica Redmon, Phillip Ray Redmon, Jr. and Lynnette Thompson Butterworth, grandchildren, Karissa Redmon, Johnny Redmon, Deidra Dailey, Logan Butterworth, Cerenity Redmon, Cherokee Redmon and Jazmine Stiff, along with 4 great grandchildren.
Patsy was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She retired from the Masonic Homes in 2015, after retirement she enjoyed going to the Y and working out, traveling and spending time with family. Patsy was a natural born care giver and hard working woman. She leaves behind a strong and resilient legacy that will be carried on through the ones that loved her the most.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 4th at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
