Patsy Ann Florez

Patsy Ann Florez, 76, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Patsy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Nanny, and sister. She was her husband's heart and the most amazing mother to her children. Patsy enjoyed spending time shopping for deals at yard sales and going to Catholic Church Picnics. She loved her dogs, Sonny, Diego, Woody, and Diego. Most importantly, Patsy adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was so much more than their Nanny, and they were her entire world. Patsy will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 11, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to Willard and Lorine (Ferguson) Baumgardner. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lorine Baumgardner; father, Willard Baumgardner; grandsons, Billy Richard Barrett and Ramon Antonio Florez; and brothers, Kenny Baumgardner, Billy Baumgardner, and Jimmy Baumgardner.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Joe Florez; children, Belinda Henderson, Dana (Rickey Jones) Barrett, Tina C. Florez, Jose M. (Angie) Florez, Ramon A. (Anita) Florez, Richard H. (Carolyn) Barrett, Lucian H. Barrett; grandchildren, Kimberly Houchin, Sharon (Bobby) Houchin-Murray, Amanda G. Barrett, Raven Barrett, Chelsea Barrett, Levi Campbell, Sierra Nicole Lena Jones, Jacob Jones; great great grandson, Brinson Ridge Carta; sisters, Sherry L. Guinn, Bonnie S. Dillard; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at 5429 Fruitwood Drive, Louisville, KY 40272.
