Patsy Ann Bailey

Patsy Blankenship Bailey, 80, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, with her family lovingly by her side. 

She was born on September 6, 1944 in Warren County, Kentucky to the late Rev. Aubrey and Lunie (Luna) (Jones) Blankenship. She is also preceded in death by her sister Betty Lyles of Gallatin, TN; three brothers, Murrell Blankenship of Lexington, KY, Joe Blankenship of Harrodsburg, KY, and Sonny Blankenship of Bowling Green, KY. 

Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Gary Sewell Bailey; one daughter and son-in-law, Tracey and James Tennill of Taylorsville, KY; two grandsons and their wives, Clayton and Amanda Walker of Shelbyville, KY, and Aaron and Renita Walker of Simpsonville; four great-grandchildren, Daxton, Vaeda, Gabereal and Tyrstin Walker; two sisters, Brenda Collins and Carolyn Blankenship, both of Clarksville, TN. and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Patsy retired from Bell South Communications after 35 years of service between the Bowling Green and Louisville areas. She volunteered at Audubon Hospital NICU comforting addicted newborns. She was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. 

Patsy has chosen cremation with a private ceremony with her immediate family. A celebration of life will be scheduled later in the spring of 2025.
