Patty Stogner passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and family. She was a native of Leitchfield, Kentucky; born October 16, 1939 to the late Georgia and Eel Small.
She is survived by her daughter, Micki Thomas (Don), son Eric Stogner, grandchildren Zach and Alex Thomas, and siblings Margie Martin, Marilyn Evans, Jerry Small and Larry Small. Her passions included painting, writing, antique restoration and long walks with her black lab, Sadie. She also enjoyed volunteer work which included Gilda's Club, Volunteers of America, and caring for others in hospitals and nursing homes.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Hosparus of Louisville for their constant care and kindness. Visitation will be Wednesday January 8, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive Louisville,KY from 1-3pm with a private service to follow. Online condolences can be made to the family at www.NewcomerKentuckiana.com. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hosparus of Louisville or the American Cancer Society.
