Patricia Renee (Feldpausch) Meagher

Patricia Renee (Feldpausch) Meagher, 84, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. Pat worked at St. Mary's Hospital in Louisville, as well as other places, as a registered nurse for many years. In her early years, she enjoyed square-dancing with her husband. She was an avid gardener and loved to spend time with her family.

She was born in Troy, Indiana, on March 4, 1933, to the late Joseph and Helen (Froehlich) Feldpausch. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, James William Meagher; and her brother, Jerry Feldpausch.

Pat is survived by her children, Jim Meagher (Carolyn), Mary Beth Brightwell (Eric), Mike Meagher (Sueann), and Joe Meagher; siblings, Jo Ann Lutgring, Bill Feldpausch (Shirley), Janice Harpenau (Bob), and Joe Feldpausch; and 7 grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering for both Pat and Jim will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Their Memorial Service will then follow at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen following Pat's and Jim's wishes.
