Patricia J Farris

Patricia J. Farris, age 77 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was retired from Jefferson County Public Schools where she spent most of her 32 year career at Watterson Elementary School. She was also a 20 year employee of JC Penney Company. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Russell and Sarah Ella Johnson; her brother, Gary Johnson; and her daughter-in-law Martha Farris.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Elroy "Ken" Farris; children, Kenneth D. Farris (Karen), Kevin W. Farris and Scott T. Farris (Kelly); grandchildren, Brittany, Ryan, Davis (Alee), Mackenzie, Madeline, Charlton and Olivia Farris; great-grandchild, Penelope; siblings, Janet Stewart and Tom Johnson (Diane). She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wesley Manor for their excellent care and compassion.

Visitation will be Monday, January 27, 2014 from 1-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive. Funeral ceremony will be 10:30am Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery.
