Patricia Ann (Applegate) Hannah

Patricia Ann (Applegate) Hannah, 78, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. She retired from Meijer in New Albany, where she had worked in the clothing department for over ten years. Pat was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She volunteered her time to the young women's program offered through her church and enjoyed preparing meals often for young missionaries.

She was born on December 27, 1943, to Bill and Mabel (Swango) Applegate. In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, John "Mike" Hannah, Sr.; son, Tom Mercer; and sister, Donna Young.

Pat is survived by her children, Peggy Cummins (Chris), Zhonna Brown (Steve), Shelly McGuire (Sterling), and John Michael Hannah II; siblings, Linda Fitzpatrick (Fritz) and Bill Applegate (Keri); grandchildren, Mitch Mercer (Bev), Matt Brown, Devin Truelove, Beck Wood (Jimmie), Mike Cline (Kim), Christopher Mercer (Amy), Jerad Brown, Tyler Tunis (Tara), John Michael Hannah III, Christian Hannah, and Maelena Hannah; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Kayden, Kenna, Dominic, Christopher, Autumn, Svetlana, Kylan, and Myah; and many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of Pat's life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A reception of family and friends will follow the service until 8:00 p.m.
