Patricia Eberle

Patricia Ann "Tish" Eberle, 64, of New Albany, Indiana died on May 26, 2012.

A beloved daughter, sister, aunt & great aunt, Tish was the second oldest of 10 children, born on August 12, 1947 to the late Lawrence and Bernadine Eberle. She grew up in Starlight and attended Our Lady of Grace Academy in Beech Grove where she was known to pull a prank or two. She graduated from IUS and Spalding with a Masters in Nursing. Tish worked at Clark Memorial Hospital for 30 years and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help where she volunteered for many different activities. She was an avid photographer, a devoted IU Basketball fan, and had a love for traveling, which she did extensively. Above all of that, her true love was for her family, especially her nieces and nephews who lovingly called her Tish or Tishie. All will miss her lively spirit, her presence and love.

Tish is survived by her siblings, Sr. Anita, Larry (Ann), Tom (Debbie), Paul (Becky), Jim (Mary Jo), Diana Owens (Jerry), Marilyn Shumate (Chuck), Marie Kaufman (Doug), & Donna Hoying (Jack); nieces and nephews, Seth & Jacob Kaufman, Nathan Shumate, Tim (Misty), Monica, Keaton, Lauren, Devin, Chelsea, & Abigail Eberle, Michael Kopple (Alisha), Brian & Matt Owens, Brittany Kolonay (Jeremy), Krista Heinrich (Josh), Megan Aines, Dan, Tom, & Emma Hoying; and numerous great nieces & nephews.

Her Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A Prayer Service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, in Starlight, Indiana.
