Pamela S. (McCartin) Harris, 48, a devout Christian, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2013. She was a member of Faith Community Church in New Albany and absolutely loved her grandsons.
Pam was born on July 6, 1965, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Patsy S. (Cron) McCartin and the late Robert B. McCartin. She was also preceded in death by her son, Corey Harris; and brothers, Richard, Jeffrey, and Gary McCartin.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Steve Harris; son, Jeff Harris (Brandy); brothers, Steve McCartin (Teena) and Tim McCartin; and grandsons, Anthony and Jayden Harris, with another grandchild on the way.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Friday after 9:00 a.m. Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Contributions in Pam's memory may be made to the annual Keeping the Spirit Alive Retreat (8212 Amelia Court, Charlestown, IN 47111).
