Pamela Rose (Metcalf) Coffey, 70, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. She retired from both Robinson Nugent after 30 years and the Department of Child Services after 18 years. Pam had been an active member of Parkway Southern Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She fully embraced the role of a pastor's wife for over 25 years, faithfully supporting her husband in his ministry and music. Pam was also talented in many different types of crafting.
Pam was born on April 14, 1953 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Emma (Tucker) Metcalf; and siblings, LuraAnn Magers, Ray Reffett, Jr., Roy L. Metcalf, Gilbert Reffett and Thomas Reffett.
Pam is survived by her husband of almost 53 years, Pastor Jim Coffey; siblings, Wayne Metcalf, Fran Dorman, Jennie Quinn (Larry), Elbert Metcalf (Luann); and numerous generations of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Monday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Abundant Life Memorial Gardens in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pam's memory may be made to Parkway Southern Baptist Church (2508 Corydon Pike, New Albany) or to SouthernCare Hospice Services (3602 Northgate Court, Suite 27, New Albany).
