Pamela Cavitt

Pamela "Pam" Cavitt, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Pam was a loving Mother, devoted Wife, loving Sister, and Aunt. She proudly served in the United States Army for 7 years where she met her Husband. With their Military deployments sent them to Korea, Texas, and Florida, before coming back to Fort Knox. Pam was a caring and loving individual who always put others needs before her own. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was born on April 15, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Kenneth and Mildred (Gagel) Cook. She is preceded in death by her Husband, George Cavitt, Sr., Parents, and Brothers, Daniel Cook, and Michael Cook, Sister, Elaine Cook.

Pam is survived by her Son, George "J.R." Cavitt Jr., Brothers, Kenneth Cook, and Chad Cook, Sisters, Willie Cook, Ruth Cook, Jane Culpepper, Jamie Bass, and Brenda Gonzalez. Pam also leaves behind to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
