Owen F. Newton, Sr.

Mr. Owen Franklin Newton, Sr., age 80 of Louisville, passed away on December 30, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired from General Electric and a member of Union Local 761. He was an avid camper and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Blanche Willis.

Mr. Newton is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Patricia Beamon Newton; children, Owen F. Newton, Jr. (Connie), Patsy Brooks (Wayne), Charles Robert Newton, John Newton and Stephanie Newton; brother, Ova Newton (Shirley); 5 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Ceremony will be Monday, January 2, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there Monday from noon until time of service. Burial will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.
