Otis Karl Tennant

Otis Karl Tennant, 83, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was a United States Air Force veteran and retiree from Conforma Clad in New Albany. Otis and his wife, Grace, had spent the last decade in Edgewater, Florida, where they enjoyed playing corn hole, miniature golf and bingo. He also liked to go camping, visit the movie theater and looked forward to going out for dinner on Friday nights.

He was born on November 25, 1940. Otis is survived by his wife of almost 36 years, Grace (Fairce) Tennant; children, Carlotta Padgett (Robb), Michelle Tennant, Richard Tennant (Pam), Cindy Lynch (Tony), Rick Lollar (Irene), Michael Lollar (Krista), Lee Lollar (Janet); sister, Cindy Israel (David); grandchildren, Logan Hanger (Shelby), Billie Padgett, Travis Lynch (Shelby), Caitlin Lynch (Brian), Amanda Lollar (Matt), Xcalibur Bryant (Josh), Essex Lollar (Cassidy), Justin Verrick (Amanda), Austin Lollar (Lindsay), Murry Nix (Joy), Shelly St. John (Tony), Kelly Barnes (Justin); 15 great-grandchildren, one-great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Otis' wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany)with a celebration of his life taking place at 6:00 p.m.
