Otis Ray Mason,Sr.

Otis Ray Mason, Sr. 64, passed away on March 28, 2014. Ray served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to fish, UK basketball, spending time with his family during family get togethers and holidays. He enjoyed working with his hands and sharing his knowledge and life experiences.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella "Lucy" Fisher Mason; parents, Delbert T. and Delores Rayhill Mason; brother, Wade Mason and sister, Delberta Mason.

He is survived by his children, Debra Mason King (John R. King, Jr.), Otis R. Mason, Jr. (Teresa Williams) and Victoria Louise Mason; grandchildren, Erika Wells Schroerlucke, Philip Mason Wells, Michael Ray Mason, Heather Renea Mason, John Tristan King, Brandon Lee Mason, Rachael Lynn Mason, Ethan Forrest King, Ella Brieann King and William Lee Wells and siblings, Sharon (Randy) Davis, Tammy (Mark) Wells, Roxanne (Mark) Vaughn, June Mason, James Mason and Susie Mason Young and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ray will be Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) from 12pm-8pm and Thursday from 9am until time for services beginning at 12pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel.

Interment will be at Mt. Holly Cemetery in Fairdale.
