Orpha Glen Hellmann, age 90 passed away on August 17, 2011 just one day before her 91st birthday.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Ruth Miller, her sisters Eleanor Cahill and Esther Hugo, and her niece Carol Vandeveer.
Orpha is survived by her niece Rae Pantoja, her nephews, John Cahill, Michael Cahill (Judy), Bill Rosser (Elaine) and Steve Hugo. She is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, great-great nieces, nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Although she did not have children of her own she loved each one as if they were her children and was very proud of all of them.
Orpha was a comptroller for many years for Killion Motor Express, and later became a partner in Mam'selle Fashions with her longtime friend Jere Shircliffe. She was an avid golfer and loved going to Florida.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her nieces Janet Moore and Judy Cahill for their loving care of Orpha.
At Orpha's request cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Orpha's remains will be inurned in a Mausoleum at Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home.
