Opal Charlene Winstead

Opal Charlene Winstead, 77, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville.

She was born on May 9, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Wade and Margaret (Bundy) Winstead. Opal is survived by her sons, Tom Seabolt, Shawn Seabolt (Deanna); brothers, Wade, Paul, Jeff, Bob Winstead (Sandy); grandchildren, Kyle Wassing, Cassy Spivey; and great-grandson, Noah Noakes.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Lanesville Protestant Cemetery.
