Oleen T. Richardson, 86, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.
She was born on January 29, 1937 in Cumberland Co., Kentucky to the late Willie Saul and Malvie Ellie (Flowers) Thrasher. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Richardson, their son, John Richardson, one grandson, Robert Richardson, and several siblings.
Oleen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, who spent her life taking care of others. She had a caring soul and welcoming personality towards others. She will truly be loved and missed by all.
Oleen is survived by her loving children, Anna Richardson, Mary "Beth" Gonzales, Angela "Angie" Johnson and Paula (Donald ) Adams, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, her siblings, Anna Mae Wolff, Nelda Graner, Lewis Thrasher, Jessie Thrasher and Matthew Thrasher.
There will be a prayer service beginning at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 9th at Calvary Cemetery (1600 Newburg Rd).
