Oleeda Bolton, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Oleeda was a loving mom, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandkids and her furbabies. She had a heart of gold and she would have given her last dollar to help her grandchildren. She was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church for many years. She retired from Cardiovascular Associates after many years of faithful service. She loved to craft which included embroidery, scrap booking, and quilting. Oleeda will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on June 25, 1938 in Pierce, Kentucky to Joseph and Grace (Thompson) Thompson. She is preceded in death by her Father, Joseph Spencer Thompson, Mother, Grace Mae Thompson; Son, James Douglas Wisdom; Daughter, Cheri Lynn Mullins; Grandson, Bobby Joe Smith; Great-Grandson, Peyton; Siblings, Janice Pedigo, Nona Houk, Geraldine Meadows, Joseph Thompson, Kathryn Thompson, Nellie Thompson, and Madelyn Thompson.
Oleeda is survived by her loving family, Daughter, Connie (Richard) Blasi; Grandchildren, Jeremy Wisdom, Jamie Wisdom, Christi (Kenneth) Reynolds, Dianna (Brett) Kennedy, and Jody Mullins; Great-Grandchildren, Heaven, Brooklynn, Cash, Lyric, Levi, Anthony, Zoie, Elijah, Haile, Dylan, Summer, Rachel, Thomas, Adam, Patrick, Maeve, Abigail, Austin, and Bailey; Sisters, Yvonne Coffey, Nina Lobb, and Essie Slinker, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Wisdom Family Cemetery in Greensburg, KY we will be meeting at the Cemetery at 12:00 pm CST.
