Nova Decker Vincent

August 29, 1920 — January 30, 2016

NOVA DECKER VINCENT,age 95, of Louisville passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. Originally from Leitchfield, Ky., she was born on August 29, 1920 to the late Ambrose and Dora Decker. She was a long-time member of Southeast Christian Church and a successful businesswoman for over 50 years, having owned several beauty salons and three thoroughbred racehorses. In addition to her parents, Nova was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Earl Vincent; son, Wayne Vincent; grandson, Eric Scott Vincent, and sister, Ruby Sanders.

Nova is survived by daughters, Sandra Gorby (Edwin), Carole Milby, Susie
Cartwright; daughter-in-law, Louise Vincent; grandchildren, Anthony Marion, Timothy Marion (Joy), Angela Hillerich (Ronald), Susan Glenn (Troy), Todd Vincent, Latasha Watts (Chris), and Stephanie Park (Burdette); 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4-6pm Wednesday, February 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with a memorial service honoring Nova's life to follow at 6pm. Burial will follow in Sanders Cemetery, Leitchfield, KY., at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
