Norman Lee Spratt, 91, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Norman served honorably in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693, the American Legion, and the Moose Club. Norman worked at G.E. for over 30 years. During his retirement, Norman and his wife Joan traveled the world. They were a very loving couple who were devoted to each other. Together they enjoyed going on cruises, ballroom dancing, and playing euchre with their friends. Norman also liked making apple butter, playing guitar, and gardening at his home. He will be greatly missed.
He was born on October 27, 1932 in Hodgenville, Kentucky to Montie and Mary (Howard) Spratt. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Joan Marie Spratt; sister, Winnie Shive; several nieces & nephews; and many friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY.
