Norman R. Smith, 66, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Norman was born on February 19, 1955 in Louisville to Gerard and Mary Catherine (Albro) Smith. He was a 1973 graduate of Iroquois High School. Norman retired from CSX as a Train Engineer after 23 years of service.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Dennis Smith.

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Smith; sons, Brian Curtis Smith and Alexander Edward Smith; sisters, Carolyn Wiggington and Nancy Daugherty; and brother, Roger Smith.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). A service to celebrate Norman's life will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, at the funeral home.

The family requests that contributions in Norman's memory be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
