Norman Lee Mukes, Jr. 57, came to the end of his life's journey on Monday, July 1, 2013. He was employed at Coca Cola Company, Inc., in Louisville, Kentucky.
Norman was born on December 3, 1955 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Norman L., Sr. and Helen (Johnson) Mukes. He joins his parents and other relatives and friends who have gone before and leaves to cherish his memory his five sisters and their families: Francesca Armmer, Sharon Barnes (Ronald), Vera Comer, Sandra Harper (Kerry), and Gwen Kim (Jong); and nieces and nephews, Mavis Armmer, Leah Barnes, Wesley and Matthew Comer, Sydney and Lindsey Harper, and Stephanie Kim. A host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends will also mourn the passing of this special man.
His Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, July 5 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a sharing of stories from 6:30 to 7 PM. The Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday, July 6 at Bethel A.M.E. Church in New Albany with burial at West Haven Cemetery to follow.
