Norman G. "Bean" Brooks, 58, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. He was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Marsha D. (Lawson) Brooks; daughters, Michelle Brooks, Kimberly Brooks, Paula Schee, Amy Boyd; son, Maston Boyd; siblings, Mary Williams (Bill), Lillie Elmore, Millie Brown, Truman Brooks, and Kenneth Brooks; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral will be at 11 AM on Saturday, April 23 in the Paul F. Kraft, Sr. Memorial Chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family.
