Norma Roberts
February 21, 1925 — July 1, 2013
Norma Sykes Roberts, 88, of Bessemer, Al and Louisville, KY passed away on July 1, 2013 at Elmcroft Senior Care where she was a resident. She was a long time member of Seventh Street Baptist Church in Bessemer Alabama. For 24 years she worked as executive assistant at the Bessemer Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Claude Roberts. She is survived by her son, Eddy Roberts (Trish); grandsons Jas Roberts (Bethany) of Bowling Green, KY and Scott Roberts (Kathy) of Durango, CO; and 4 great-grandchildren, Aidan Matthew Roberts, Ainsley Page Roberts, Ellery Tate Roberts and Ian Scott Roberts.
Visitation will be Wednesday July 3, 2013 from 5pm to 6pm at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY. Service to follow at 6pm.
In Honor of Norma memorials may be made to The Baptist Health Foundation of Greater Louisville.
