Norma Nugent
Norma Jean (Mouser) Nugent, 56, formerly of New Albany, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Soldotna, Alaska. She lived in Alaska with her life partner of 24 years, Mel Forsyth, Jr. Norma was a Christian by faith and a floral designer.
She was born July 2, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Chesley Truman and Emilene Sue (Blaydes) Mouser. She is also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Marge and Martha Mouser.
Norma is survived by her devoted life partner, Mel Forsyth, Jr.; brothers, John Mouser, Jimmy Mouser, Chesley Thomas Mouser and his wife, Sue, Roy Mouser and Roger Mouser and his wife, Jackie and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday, August 2, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana (formerly Generations Funeral Home) at 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150. The Funeral Service will be 10 AM on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
