Norma Jean Wiechert Muir, age 99 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023. She was born January 14, 1924 in Florence, Indiana to the late WIllie and Lillie Irons Wiechert. She retired from G.E. Appliance Park and a member of the Eastern Star. She lived several years in Largo and Palm Harbor, Florida after retirement. She moved back to Louisville after her husband's passing. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Hiram C. Muir; daughter, Judy C. LeClaire (Alan); brother, Morgan "Carl" Wiechert; baby sister, Nina Marie Wiechert; and her aunt, Emma Wiechert.
Norma is survived by her loving son, Melvin C. Muir; grandson, Clifford R. Heil (Lynette); great-granddaughters, Lauren Heil and Amanda Heil (Jacob); and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be private.
