Norma Marie Hollkamp

Norma Marie Hollkamp, 86, of Borden, Indiana, passed peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. Norma was a proud member of St. John Paul II in Sellersburg, Indiana. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and yahtzee, watching TV, sports, and most importantly spending time with family.

She was born on September 29, 1937 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late George and Anna (Kirchgessner) Hollkamp. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Herb, George "Pat", and Eugene Hollkamp; brother-in-law, George Smith; and sister-in-law, Mary Hollkamp.

Norma is survived by her loving sisters, Wilma Smith, Phyllis (Bob) Burkholder, and Elizabeth Williams; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Norma's family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers at Maple Manor Christian Home and previously from AccessiCare for the outstanding care they have provided for Norma and the family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (2253 W. St. Joe Road, Sellersburg). Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in Norma's memory be made to Fighting Blindness Foundation or St. John Paul II Catholic Church.
