Norma Lee Ballou

Norma Lee Ballou, age 91 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. She was born February 7, 1932 to the late Albert A. Wiser, Sr. and Nannette (Wurster) Wiser. Norma enjoyed her many loved dogs through the years, collecting cut glass and Seraphim Angels. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and swinging in her swing made by her father while feeding the birds and the squirrels daily. Norma was a lifelong member of Chapel Hill United Church of Christ. She loved the sunshine. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Merle Ray Ballou; son in-law, Nick Bibelhauser; grandson, Tim Bibelhauser; and eldest daughter, Kathleen Ballou.

Norma is survived by her sister, Carol Feldhoff; brother, Albert Wiser, Jr. (Elizabeth); daughters, Cheryl Bibelhauser and Debora Gray (Bradley); six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10am to 12pm on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. A celebration of Norma's life will be there at 12pm on Thursday, with private burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
