Nora M. "Granny" (Decker) Aiken, 94, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at her home in Clarksville, Indiana. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Nora enjoyed traveling and playing bingo.
She was born on July 29, 1918 in Grayson County, Kentucky to the late Charles and Mary Bell (Fulkerson) Decker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Aiken; son, J.C. Yeager; and grandson, James Wilson.
Nora is survived by her daughters, Mary Hilton, Minnie Finch (David); daughter-in-law, Laurel Yeager; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Her Visitation will take place from 4 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM. Her Funeral Service will take place on Thursday at 1 PM at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville.
