Nora Marie (Allen) Booth, 85, of New Albany passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany and a former employee of M. Fine & Sons.
Nora was born on July 12, 1928 in Louisville to the late Charles H. and Mary E. (Corbett) Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William R. Booth; son, Alan G. Booth; and siblings, Paul E. Allen, Dorothy McMillen, and Charles A. Allen.
She is survived by her children, Donald W. Booth (Susan), Sandra M. Spencer, Janet S. Booth, Ronald L. Booth (Robin), Tina L. McCauley (Steve), Rita A. O'Neal (Gary), Laura J. Vallandingham, Kenneth R. Booth (Jackie), Gary E. Booth, Timothy M. Booth (Cyndi); brother, Johnnie R. Allen (Theresa); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 PM Friday, March 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 11 AM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 PM on Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church (129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany, IN 47150).
