Noella Bucayu

Noella Bucayu, age 26 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Noella was born in Quezon City, Philippines, September 14, 1997 to her loving parents, Noel and Teresita Bucayu. She graduated from Ballard High School and recently received her Certification to become a Medical Assistant. She was also a certified lash technician. Noella was a beautiful soul. She loved caring for other people, especially her family and children. She loved One Piece, she enjoyed art and painting, she loved spending time in nature, and music, especially Beabadoobee. She had a passion for food and eating rice with every meal. Most of all she cherished her time she shared with her children and family. She was amazing mother, daughter, partner and wonderful sister. She had so much love to give. She could make anyone feel safe and comfortable in any situation Noella could light up any room with her infectious sense of humor and her beautiful presence. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.

Noella is survived by her partner, Brooklyn Rucker; her children, Cassius and Princeton; Cassius‘s father, Ryan Cox; her parents, Noel and Teresita; her brother, Maximus; and sister, Alexandria; her grandparents, Eddie and Florentina Gadiane; and her big and loving family who will forever love her. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24th, and Thursday, July 25th from 3:00pm until 8:00pm each day, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville Ky.  A brief visitation will be held on Friday, July 26th, at 1:00pm with a service to follow at 4:00pm at the funeral home and will conclude at 6:00pm.

There will be a reception following the service on Friday at Trinity Chapel Church, 8617 Whipps Mill Rd, Louisville, KY 40222.
